With its gentle snow front, its kids’ snow garden and its well-exposed green runs, Gréolières-les-Neiges is an ideal resort for learning to ski — at any age. On site, the École du Ski Français (ESF) takes care of the teaching.

The school has around a dozen qualified instructors, several of them English-speaking, and teaches alpine skiing and snowboarding. It also runs school snow classes and offers adaptive skiing (handiski). You’ll find it on the snow front, at 350 Traverse du Cheiron.

Kids: from Piou-Piou to the stars
The Club Piou-Piou welcomes children from age 3 in a snow garden equipped with a magic carpet. From there, group lessons take them from the “ourson” level up to the gold star, with a badge test at the end of each cycle.
Prices published by the school (equipment and lift pass not included):
- Children’s group lessons: €30 per 2-hour session, or €160 for 6 mornings including the badge
- Club Piou-Piou: €32 per session, or €170 for 6 mornings
- Sessions usually run 10 am – 12 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm
Adults too
It’s never too late: 2-hour private lessons cost €104 for 1 to 2 people (€124 for 3-4, €144 for 5-8) — book by phone. It’s the most effective way to progress fast or rebuild your confidence after years off skis.
We take care of the equipment
No need to buy gear to get started: Bogho Sport equips kids and adults at the foot of the slopes, just steps from the lesson meeting point. Kids’ skis from €13 a day, full adult package with helmet included from €25. Our tips for choosing the right gear are in this article.
