Ski or snowboard?
Skiing is generally recommended for beginners and children, as progress tends to be faster at first. Snowboarding takes a bit more time to master the basics, but offers a unique experience once the fundamentals are in place.
Full pack or individual items?
For most people, the full alpine pack is the most economical and convenient option. It includes skis, boots and poles (+ helmet for adults). If you already own part of your equipment, we also rent items individually.
Tips for children
For kids, we recommend:
- Choosing skis suited to their height (the length should roughly reach their chin)
- Always going for a helmet, included in our adult pack
- Preferring comfortable boots over overly stiff ones
