A ski weekend, a week of mountain biking or just one night before an early-morning hike: here’s where to drop your bags in Gréolières and nearby.
Staying at the resort
Auberge Alpina — the only inn on the snow front, which also operates as a group gîte. 2985 Boulevard du Grand Pré · aubergealpina.fr · 04 23 32 02 50
Furnished rentals — plenty of privately owned studios and apartments are available at the foot of the slopes (often 2 minutes from the lifts), through the usual platforms or the “meublés” section of the resort’s official website.
By motorhome — the resort has a service area (water and waste disposal, card payment) and a free parking zone with around fifty spaces overlooking the slopes (7 days maximum).
In the village of Gréolières
The hilltop village, a 15-minute drive below, is home to most of the area’s B&Bs and characterful gîtes:
- B&Bs: Zoélières, Villa le Regain, L’Ancien Atelier (on Place Pierre Merle)
- Gîtes: gîte du Prinas (3★), La Maison du Loup (4★, sleeps 8), gîte du Cheiron, gîte de l’église…
- Groups: Le Foulon, a 34-bed group gîte on the road to Grasse
The full list, with contact details, is kept up to date by the town hall at greolieres.fr.
Nearby
In Coursegoules (25 km), the municipal gîtes de l’Escaou; in Thorenc and Andon, the Auberge de Thorenc, the Merisiers B&B and the Auberge de la Forêt. Handy when the resort is fully booked during school holidays.
The smart move
Staying at the resort? Don’t load the car with gear: Bogho Sport is right there — skis and electric mountain bikes can be rented a 2-minute walk from most accommodation — ski prices here.
