In summer, Gréolières-les-Neiges swaps skis for bikes. The resort offers 7 marked MTB trails (no. 10 to 16), totalling more than 60 km between 1,400 and 1,800 m of altitude, starting from the Maison du Fondeur — across the cross-country ski trails, through the forest and all the way up to the Cheiron ridge.

The trails, from gentlest to toughest

  • Trail 12 — green · 4 km · 120 m climb · ~40 min: along the forest edge, perfect for families
  • Trail 11 — blue · 6 km · 120 m climb · ~30 min: on the cross-country ski trails
  • Trail 10 — blue · 8 km · 220 m climb · ~50 min: accessible to everyone
  • Trail 13 — blue · 8 km · 220 m climb · ~1 h 30: around the resort, with banked turns and a wooden bridge
  • Trail 14 — red · 9 km · 350 m climb · ~2 h: through the forest, return on the road
  • Trail 15 — red · 17 km · 300 m climb · ~2 h 30: the longest, out to the Plan du Peyron
  • Trail 16 — black · 10 km · 400 m climb · ~2 h 30: the climb to the Cheiron summit and its 360° view over the Mediterranean

Chairlift, enduro and long-distance routes

In summer, the Huskies chairlift opens to mountain bikes (weekends in June, every day in July and August): perfect for stringing together descents without wearing yourself out. The resort has also built a playful enduro track through the pine forest, with optional jumps and wooden features. And if you want to think bigger, Gréolières is one of the gateways to the FFC “VTT Parc des Monts d’Azur” site: 31 routes and 390 km of marked trails.

The electric mountain bike changes everything

Good news: every trail is open to electric-assist bikes. With an e-MTB, the black trail to the Cheiron summit becomes a realistic goal for a casual rider — and the panorama at the top is far easier to earn.

No bike? Bogho Sport rents adult, junior and Baby Van electric mountain bikes all summer long at the Chalet du Parc, right at the trailhead. Check our e-MTB rental prices — from €15 for a half-day.
