Few people know it: you can ski about an hour from the Promenade des Anglais. Perched between 1,400 and 1,800 m on the Cheiron massif, Gréolières-les-Neiges is the closest ski resort to the French Riviera — and one of the few in the world where you can see the sea from the slopes.
How far from the coast?
- Nice: about 1h10 by car
- Cannes: about 1h05
- Antibes: about 1 hour
- Grasse: about 45 minutes
The road climbs through the Loup gorges and the perched village of Gréolières — a beautiful drive in itself.
A family resort, winter and summer
In winter, the ski area offers runs for every level, ideal for families and beginners, plus snowshoe routes and sledging areas. In summer, the resort becomes a playground for e-mountain biking and hiking, with panoramic views over the Mediterranean.
